Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Security Officer in a Full Time, Unarmed Patrol First Aid Response role. You will patrol a telecommunications retail location, deter unauthorized activity, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Requirements include at least 1 year of security experience; CPR/First Aid is preferred; a guard card or license is preferred; must be 18+ for unarmed roles. A background check and drug screen may be required.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a telecommunications retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior or security-related concerns, and elevate incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents accurately while maintaining a professional presence for customers, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
