As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM
• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM
• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
