Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a full-time hospital security role in Avon, Ohio. You will monitor, patrol, and respond to incidents, while providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background checks will be conducted.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to support an orderly environment for patients and healthcare personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
