Job summary

Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol to protect patients, visitors, and staff while delivering friendly, customer-focused service in a healthcare setting.

You will monitor areas, respond to incidents, and drive a patrol vehicle to cover multiple zones. Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and CPR preferred; age 18+ for unarmed roles. Training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, public spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and access-related questions.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-splitting manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, public spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and access-related questions.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
