Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will conduct highly visible bicycle patrols throughout a dynamic downtown area, helping to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for visitors, businesses, and community members. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, businesses, and community members while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout public areas, business corridors, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
