Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time TWIC admission driver role in Deer Park, TX. You will provide customer service, enforce access-control procedures, and help maintain a secure site at a logistics and distribution facility.

Responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, logging activity, and responding to incidents with calm, professional action. A valid TX driver's license, TWIC, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required.
• Background check and drug screen as permitted by law.
• 18+ for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accord with site procedures to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and operational areas, documenting observations.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to the facility and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and operational areas, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
