Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

• Monitor access points and verify visitor/employee credentials according to site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in logs and reports per protocol.

As a Security Officer Full Time Security Clearance Patrol Inspection in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, team-focused environment while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.90 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations, policy violations, and maintenance-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
