Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time screening and inspection role in West Palm Beach, FL. You will monitor access points, screen people and deliveries, and uphold a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service.

This position includes a fixed daytime schedule with a pay rate of $15.68 per hour and opportunities for growth within a leading security and facility services company.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience or more.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors at a logistics and distribution location following site-specific security procedures.
• Screen individuals, packages, vehicles, and deliveries entering or leaving the facility.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, yards, docks, and perimeters and document observations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Inspection in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment for operations. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the facility in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
