Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Services in Atlanta, GA. You will serve as the welcoming presence at a professional location, manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service.

Role requires at least two years in security, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a high school diploma. This is a full-time, on-site position with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $18 per hour.

• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer calls, give directions, and relay information to staff.
• Report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security incidents to site management or Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer calls, provide directions, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
