Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Personnel Screening in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Screener at a food and beverage location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support operations with professionalism and integrity. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening requirements at a food and beverage location.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting prohibited items or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and delivery records as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
