Allied Universal® in Grenada, MS is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across distribution facilities. Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol Driver in Grenada, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, deliveries, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
