Allied Universal in Hamilton, OH is seeking a full-time Security Officer – Patrol to serve and safeguard campus communities. You will monitor access, patrol buildings, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and background screening; a driver’s license is needed for driving roles. Weekly pay with benefits including medical, dental, 401K, and life insurance.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, property damage, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
