Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Asheville, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a dynamic aerospace/defense site.

In this unarmed patrol role, you will respond to incidents, document activities, and collaborate with site leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Asheville, NC will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a dynamic environment while using sound judgment and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri – 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat – 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun – 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
