Securitas USA in Wilmington, MA is seeking Security Officers to help keep people, property, and communities safe across client sites. You don't need previous security experience—training is provided to help you start your new career with confidence.

As a Security Officer, you will monitor entrances, patrol, respond to alarms, file incident reports, and deliver professional service to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a neat, approachable appearance.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

As a Security Officer, you'll help create a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Monitoring entrances and controlling access to client facilities.
• Conducting patrols to help protect people and property.
• Responding to alarms, emergencies, and unusual activity.
• Following established security procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Preparing incident reports and documenting daily activities.
• Providing friendly, professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Communicating with team members, clients, and emergency personnel when needed.
• Monitoring assigned areas and reporting potential safety or security concerns.

You don't need years of security experience to get started! We're looking for dependable, professional individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy helping others.

To qualify, you must:

• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Be comfortable greeting people, answering questions, and interacting with the public.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, depending on the assignment.
• Successfully complete all required pre-employment screening and onboarding requirements.
• Experience in security, retail, hospitality, customer service, or a similar field is welcome, but previous security experience is not required.
