Allied Universal in Portland, OR is seeking a Security Officer Full Time for a luxury retail site. You will patrol unarmed, deter security incidents, and provide courteous service to guests and staff in a high-end environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and luxury retail guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, stock areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and adjacent common areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and other security‑related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with access control, visitor and vendor interactions, and incident documentation in accordance with site‑specific procedures.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

• Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Wed 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sat 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:
