Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer – Full Time Hospital Customer Assistance Patrol to serve patients, visitors and staff with professional security and outstanding customer service in a healthcare setting. You will monitor areas, patrol facilities, deter incidents, and respond calmly to emergencies, reporting incidents to site leadership and following site procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Customer Assistance Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support visitors and staff with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly during security-related situations. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and facility concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to receive vaccinations required for hospital settings.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
