Job summary

Allied Universal in Elizabethtown, KY is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol to safeguard tenants and guests at a commercial real estate location. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service.

Daytime and evening shifts available, with a focus on professional communication and reliable teamwork. Eligible applicants must meet minimum requirements and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual conditions.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with property personnel, tenants, and responding agencies.
