Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol in Cedar Valley, UT. You will monitor a construction site, provide customer service, deter unauthorized activity, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while following site security procedures at an active construction location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of construction work areas, access points, parking areas, trailers, equipment storage areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the site, verify authorization, and report unusual or unauthorized activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events following emergency protocols.
• Document patrols and incidents through required reports and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an active construction location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of construction work areas, access points, parking areas, trailers, equipment storage areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and deliveries as directed, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions through required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
