As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor registrations, and delivery appointments in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate access control systems, visitor management tools, cameras, and communication equipment; document access-related activity, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
