Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor badges, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and personnel according to site procedures and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, evacuations, and other critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts, prohibited items, and unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, evacuations, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
