Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full-Time Driving Role in Archbald, PA to protect clients across aerospace/defense sectors while patrolling and responding to incidents. You will drive on site, monitor access, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, mid-level experience in security procedures, and adherence to site policies. 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles; background checks and drug screening are standard.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, methodical way per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of offices, operations spaces, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report anomalies in restricted areas.
• Prepare incident reports and patrol logs in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Role Patrol in Archbald, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Valid Driver's License:

• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:
• • A current and valid license issued by the appropriate authority.
  • No significant driving violations or restrictions that would impede the ability to perform job duties.
  • Compliance with any additional state or territory regulations regarding driving.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense business location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and report irregularities involving restricted areas or sensitive business materials.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
