Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Coordination in Lansing, MI. You will serve and safeguard clients across Healthcare and other industries, monitor access, verify credentials, and respond to security-related concerns, with a valid driver’s license required.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and a shift schedule including multiple afternoon/evening blocks.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors entering or leaving the location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
