As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Response Driver in Summit, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $20.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
