Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by enforcing site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain entry/exit logs.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, loading and parking areas, and perimeter to detect hazards or policy concerns.
• Document incidents and daily activities per Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Door Access Coordination in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Through a visible presence and attention to site procedures, you will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $15.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
