Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time day shift in Clayton, OH. You will safeguard clients across industries, manage entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain visitor logs at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, directing authorized personnel, responding calmly to incidents, and performing patrols to deter security threats.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate entry/exit records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and contractor access to the facility, directing authorized individuals to designated areas and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $17.57 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
