Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Day Inspection role in West Chester, OH. You will provide customer service and protect client sites at financial institutions and other facilities.

The position requires monitoring, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence. You will follow site procedures, log activities, and liaise with employees and first responders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local rules.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Day Inspection in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. • Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and first responders while reporting observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
