Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a critical utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations with professionalism. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, offices, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.


• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of experience in a security-related role.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
