Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Apex, NC. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents with a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while documenting observations on a tablet or computer.

The role includes a fixed evening schedule, opportunities for training, and a focus on safety and client service across diverse sites. A background check and a drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background checks will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, document observations using computer or tablet systems, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:0 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
