Job summary

Allied Universal, Houston, TX, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification Driver. You will drive to client sites, verify credentials, monitor access, and maintain visitor records while delivering excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required; guards license is preferred. You will work day-time shifts on a rotating schedule and help deter incidents with visibility and proactive patrols.

• Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and retrieve authorized access credentials, and report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
