Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Enrollment in Olathe, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and access-control documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
