Allied Universal in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a full-time Security Officer for Community Patrol. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols in residential settings, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, assist residents and visitors, and respond to incidents with calm, professional judgment.

Requirements include at least 2 years in security, a valid driver’s license, a guard card, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as part of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Community Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access‑related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
