• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors at the front desk per access procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Issuance in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional, you will be the welcoming presence at a client location, supporting access control, visitor management, and clear communication with guests and staff. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment through attentive service and accurate documentation. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors in accordance with site access procedures while maintaining a professional front-desk presence.
• Monitor entry activity, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor access materials as authorized, and maintain required visitor records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
