Job summary

Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to protect clients and support access control in a food and beverage location. You will patrol, monitor, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent service with integrity.

This role offers daytime schedule with multiple shifts, a starting pay of $19.50 per hour, and opportunities for training and growth within a collaborative security team.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Accountability in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage business location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
