As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using authorized equipment and following applicable laws, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
