As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Desk Communications in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures and financial institution policies at a front desk location.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry records as directed.
• Answer phones, provide general directions, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual activity, access concerns, or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have three or more years of experience as military police, a corrections officer, an armed guard, or a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
