Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and stay aware of activity to protect people and assets.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter and report concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and contact emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation per procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Days in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment while applying your law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of activity within and around the location to help protect personnel, customers, assets, and information.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or potential concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact emergency services and site leadership as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
