Job summary

Admiral Security Services in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a diligent security officer to join our professional team. The position includes access control, enforcing policies, and responding to incidents.

You will patrol premises, report hazards, and interact with clients, visitors, and staff. Candidates must meet minimum age, pass background check, and have at least one year of verifiable work experience; Maryland security card preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
• Must operate and maintain site specific security programs.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience; related military/concierge experience or AA/BA is considered.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforcement of client and company policies and procedures.
• Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards.
• Routine foot patrols in and around buildings.
• Report incidents to operations manager, client, and ADM managers as appropriate.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the public.
• Other duties as assigned.
