Job summary

Weiser Security Services, Inc. in Ellenwood, GA is seeking a security officer for a temporary night shift Friday to Monday, 11pm–7am. You will safeguard client assets, staff and visitors, monitor access, investigate disturbances, and prepare daily reports per post orders.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard client interests within the facility and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of criminal activity or disorder while investigating disturbances.
• Prepare daily reports per training and submit to designated contacts.
• Conduct patrols as mandated by post orders.
• Monitor and control access to the property in line with post orders.
• Notify authorities in emergencies as specified in post orders.
• Report violations of company policy and regulations per Employee Handbook.
• Maintain a standing position for extended periods.
• Be willing to work longer hours as needed.
• Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as required by the client.

Job description

This position operates under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is tasked with the responsibility of protecting and securing the assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at designated sites.

The temporary shift runs from Friday to Monday, 11pm to 7am. Applicants should have at least one year of security experience. The pay rate is $15.50 per hour.

Job Duties:

• 1. Safeguard the interests of the client within the facility, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.

• 3. Prepare daily reports in accordance with training and submit these reports to the designated contacts.
• 4. Conduct patrols as mandated by post orders.

• 6. Notify the relevant authorities in all emergencies as specified in the post orders.
• 7. Report all violations of company policy, as well as local and federal regulations, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
