Allied Universal is recruiting a Security Officer to join our team in Durham, NC, providing unarmed patrols and exceptional customer service within a healthcare setting.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with a professional, courteous approach. We value integrity, collaboration, and people-first principles in our daily work.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific policies and emergency procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor management, and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports and patrol logs per procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Tablet Reporting in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, direction-giving, and reporting of suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21\+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\’s license will be required for driving positions only.
