Job summary

Securitas USA in Portage, MI is seeking Security Officers for open interviews on 9/23/2026 from 10A-3P at 5136 Lovers Lane Suite 108, Portage. Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $21.50 per hour depending on shift and site.

Must have a valid MI driver's license, be able to walk 5+ miles daily, and show strong communication and customer service skills. Open positions are full- or part-time with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have valid MI driver's license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable walking 5+ miles per day.
• Proficient with computers and technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Security experience preferred.
• 1+ years customer service experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for security and safety.
• Maintain safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking; may involve stairs and uneven terrain.
