Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Variable Schedule Patrol in the Bridgeville area. You will support multiple sites, work 30-40 hours weekly, and pick up shifts via a self-scheduling program. The role offers diverse environments, ongoing training, and advancement opportunities.

Pay rate is $17.14 per hour, with weekend and holiday shifts as needed. Essential duties include patrolling, monitoring entrances, responding to incidents, reporting, and assisting people on site.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel the required distance for Branch Flex assignments.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
