Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a Utility Officer for the Knoxville area to cover posts, monitor for security threats, and ensure safe access on weekends and holidays. The role requires a valid Tennessee driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

The position offers extensive training, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package. Work schedules may include flexible shifts, with pay issued weekly through direct deposit.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 25 years old with a TN driver’s license and clean MVR (no more than 1 at-fault occurrence).
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.
• Complete 40 hours of paid on-the-job training.
• Complete security license training.

Responsibilities

• Protect industrial or commercial properties from fire, vandalism, and illegal entry.
• Open posts and cover weekends/holidays; shifts can be adjusted as needed.
• Walk patrols may be required at some KUB sites.
