Allied Universal in Stockton, CA is seeking a Security Officer Flex Shift Coverage to protect diverse sites and gain broad experience. You will work 30-40 hours weekly with a varying schedule, picking shifts through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift platform. This role offers hands-on training, a gateway to advancement, and exposure to multiple client environments, from healthcare to education. Pay is $21.66 per hour.

Qualifications

• Able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Willing to travel the required distance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure compliant removal.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary by post orders.
