Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Travel Team in New York, NY. You will work 30–40 hours per week on a variety of sites, gaining exposure to healthcare, education, finance, and retail environments, with shifts assigned and picked up through our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program.

You will be assigned irregular shifts with little advance notice, supporting client needs, and have the chance to advance within the company while receiving competitive pay of $18.87 per hour and

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Available for varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Able to travel as required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions

Responsabilités

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess at least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, as a Branch Flex employee.
• Have reliable transportation as a Branch Flex employee.
• Be available for last‑minute shift scheduling as a Branch Flex employee.
• Be able to travel required distances as a Branch Flex employee.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
