Job summary

Allied Universal in Stockton, CA is hiring a Security Officer Flex Patrol Shift Rotation to support diverse client sites. You will conduct foot or vehicle patrols, observe for security hazards, control access, and document incidents to help keep people and property safe.

Your schedule will vary week to week, with manager-assigned shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel required distances.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal per client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicions; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
