Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more, using our exclusive shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.

You may be called upon to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation will be conducted; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure compliant removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs as required by post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.

The Security Professional Flex Officer may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Branch Flex – Last Minute Shift Scheduling (C165):
  • Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to accept last-minute shift changes as needed.
• Branch Flex – Reliable Transportation (C163):
  • Candidates are required to have reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Branch Flex – Travel Distance (C164):
  • Candidates should be aware of the travel distance to the workplace and confirm their ability to commute without significant delays.
• Branch Flex – Work Varying Shifts – Holidays, Nights, & Weekends (C162):
  • Candidates must be willing to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, as required by the position.
• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123):
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory for positions that require driving. Candidates must comply with the AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  • Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management, ensuring security protocols are followed.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):
  • Familiarity with alarm panel systems is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge of alarm operations and protocols.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  • Candidates must be comfortable using computers or tablets for daily tasks, including communication, reporting, and data entry.
• CPR Certification (B205):
  • Current CPR certification is required for positions that involve emergency response or first aid responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws; Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• No prior experience required
• Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
