Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Driver Patrol Scheduling in King Of Prussia, PA. You will patrol designated areas, adapt to changing shifts, and drive between client locations while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be available for last‑minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. In this role, you can expect to work 30–40 hours per week, offering steady income and opportunities for growth. Your schedule will vary week to week, based on a combination of manager‑assigned shifts and those you pick up through our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift self‑scheduling program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments will change regularly, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals who are adaptable, dependable, and ready to take on new challenges. Please note that you will be assigned to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs.

Pay Rate

$18.79 / Hour

• Age RequirementCandidates must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application (C101). This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.
• Valid Driver's LicenseCandidates must possess a valid driver’s license, in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.
• Branch Flex – Work Varying Shifts (C162) Candidates must be willing to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the operational needs of the branch.
• Branch Flex – Reliable Transportation (C163) Candidates must have reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and attendance at work. This requirement is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and meeting customer needs.
• Branch Flex – Travel Distance (C164) Candidates should be aware of the travel distance to the branch location. It is important that candidates can commute to and from work without significant delays or issues.
• Branch Flex – Last Minute Shift Scheduling (C165) Candidates must be prepared for last‑minute shift scheduling changes. The ability to adapt to sudden changes in scheduling is vital for the smooth operation of the branch.
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital communication tools effectively.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and resolve issues efficiently. Experience in a fast‑paced environment is preferred.
• CPR Certification (B205):
  • Candidates must provide proof of a valid CPR Certification (B205) from an accredited organization.
  • The certification must be current and not expired at the time of employment.
  • Candidates are encouraged to obtain certification prior to the interview process to expedite hiring
