Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time CPR Response Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN. This role offers reliable hours with a six-month anchor shift and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.63 per hour with a schedule set for day-time shifts (Tue 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). The position supports part-time employment with potential path to full-time, up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for the location.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
