Job summary

American Security & Investigations in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking an experienced Security Officer to protect buildings and people on mornings at our West Des Moines/Clive/Des Moines sites. The role offers part-time morning shifts with hourly pay of $17.50 and opportunities to grow.

You will patrol, enforce rules, report hazards, and respond to alarms as part of an essential frontline team. English fluency, a clean background, and CPR ability are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have prior corporate security experience (at least 1 year).
• Must be able to speak English.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Be able to meet physical requirements including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR.

Location: West Des Moines, IA, Clive IA, and Des Moines IA

Schedules

• Part Time: Mon-Fri 5am-9am (Dock Officer)
• Part Time: Mon-Fri 6am-10am

Requirements

• You must be 18 years old.
• Must have prior Corporate Security Experience (at least 1 year)
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Be able to meet physical requirements including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR

Job Duties
