Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control Full Time in Glen Allen, VA. You will safeguard clients in financial institutions and related sites, performing patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining logs while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires a law enforcement or military police background or equivalent; CPR is preferred, and a background check/drug screen are standard. Compensation is $22.66 per hour with a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying authorization and documenting entries, incidents, and unusual observations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while supporting a professional, welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control Full Time in Glen Allen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
